At McGill Learning Center, our cognitive development programs are designed to help children build strong thinking skills from the very beginning. During the early years, children are naturally curious, eager to explore, and ready to learn. Our programs create a safe and nurturing space where that curiosity is encouraged and guided with care. We focus on helping children learn how to think, not just what to think, through hands on activities, meaningful play, and supportive interactions with teachers.

At McGill Learning Center, our programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years are thoughtfully designed to support this important stage of growth. We provide a balance of structured activities and free exploration, allowing children to develop independence while also learning within a guided framework.
Our classrooms are filled with opportunities for discovery. Infants are supported through sensory play and responsive caregiving that helps them begin to understand their surroundings. Toddlers are encouraged to explore cause and effect through play, while preschoolers begin to engage in more complex thinking tasks such as sorting, counting, and early problem solving. Each stage builds naturally on the one before it, helping children grow in confidence and ability.

Our daily schedule, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, provides structure while still allowing flexibility for each child’s needs. Family style dining, a peanut free setting, and caring teacher interactions all contribute to a space where children feel secure and ready to learn.
