We select our staff very carefully in order to provide the best possible care and education for your children.

Courtney Bost- Executive Director

Courtney grew up in Salisbury and currently lives in Mooresville, NC.

She and her husband Ron have 3 children- Chanse, Courtlyn, and Cade.

She began working in childcare in 2002 and is passionate about working with preschoolers. She believes that all children deserve a strong foundation and quality care. Courtney strives to empower teachers to make a positive difference in the lives of their students.  Her educational accomplishments include earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education from Catawba College and a Master of Education degree from UNC-Wilmington.  Her hope is that society will come to recognize how crucial early childhood development is in the overall educational process.

Regina Lackey-Assistant Director

Regina is a dedicated assistant director and is passionate about the early childhood field. She has been devoted to impacting the lives of young children for many years. She has impacted the lives of her students for many years. She studied at Rowan Cabarrus Community College where she received her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.  At McGill, Regina is known as “Ms. Gigi” and strives to ensure that all children meet their full potential.

We employ people who are warm and nurturing, who understand child development, who can apply their knowledge in the classroom, and who respect each child as an individual.

Each staff member at McGill Learning Center goes through a health screening and criminal background checks. We also require references which are checked thoroughly before the employee is hired.

Every staff member at MLC is required to become certified in CPR and First Aid.

Our Lead teachers have their certifications in Early Childhood and all of our staff is in some form of continuing education throughout the year.
